Pick up from your Fes riad or hotel at 8:00 AM by your driver. Then we depart to Merzouga, where the dunes of Erg Chebbi are located. This is an 8-hour journey. It takes you across the Atlas Mountains. We travel to southern Morocco’s largest oasis, Tafilalet. This region is composed of many villages and palmeries. It also includes two main Saharan towns: Erfoud and Rissani.

Our journey includes several stops along the way. First, we visit Ifrane, known as “Little Switzerland.” After that, we stop at the Azrou cedar forest. You can see monkeys there in their natural habitat. Then we enjoy lunch in Midelt. Subsequently, we pass through the breathtaking Ziz Valley. Its palm trees amidst the Sahara are stunning. Then we head for the Erg Chebbi dunes.

Venturing further into the desert landscape, the dunes emerge seemingly in the middle of nowhere. The adventure peaks with an overnight camel trek. This leads us to a Berber-tented camp. Enjoy a traditional dinner under the stars. Berber music fills the night air. Overnight in the desert camp.
