Embark on an action-packed 4 Days Tour from Tangier to Marrakech. This efficient yet immersive itinerary takes you through the blue-washed streets of Chefchaouen, the cultural richness of Fes, the cedar forests of the Middle Atlas, the rolling golden dunes of the Sahara, and the cinematic canyons and kasbahs of the south before concluding in the vibrant Red City.
Your 4-day private Morocco tour begins as we pick you up in Tangier and journey southward through the scenic Rif Mountains. Arrive in Chefchaouen, a stunning mountain village famous for its striking blue medina and Spanish-style square. After exploring its unique aesthetic and relaxing atmosphere, continue your drive to Fes, where you will spend the night in a charming traditional riad or hotel.
After breakfast, leave Fes behind and head into the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping at Ifrane (Morocco’s “Switzerland”) and the cedar forests of Azrou to watch wild local Barbary apes. Pass through Midelt and the sprawling Ziz Valley, stopping in Erfoud and Rissani to explore local fossil workshops and traditional markets. Upon reaching Merzouga, embark on a 45-minute camel trek across the Erg Chebbi dunes just in time for sunset. Spend a magical night at a desert camp featuring traditional Berber drumming and dinner under a canopy of stars.
Rise early to catch a breathtaking sunrise over the desert dunes before riding your camels back to the village. Continue your journey by 4 × 4 times vehicle through Rissani and Tinghir toward the dramatic rock walls of the Todra Gorge. Enjoy exploring the towering canyons before ending your day with a traditional Moroccan dinner and an overnight stay in a local riad or hotel in the Dades Gorges.
On the final day of your private tour, travel along the famous “Road of a Thousand Kasbahs” through the Dades Valley, stopping at Kalaat M’gouna (the Valley of Roses) and Skoura. Continue to Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Africa,” followed by a lunch stop at the iconic UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. Afterward, cross the High Atlas Mountains via the winding Tizi n’Tichka pass, arriving in Marrakech by late afternoon to conclude your unforgettable desert adventure.
