 3-Day Fes Desert Tours

Day 1: Fes → Merzouga

Departure from Fes in the morning. You will travel through Ifrane, known for its unique architecture and calm atmosphere. Continue the Middle Atlas Mountains, where you may see cedar forests and monkeys.

After lunch in Midelt, the journey continues to the beautiful Ziz Valley, full of palm trees and small villages. In the afternoon, arrive in Merzouga. Here, you will ride camels into the desert and watch the sunset before reaching your camp.

Day 2: Merzouga Desert

Wake up early to see the sunrise over the dunes of Erg Chebbi. After breakfast, explore the desert area by 4×4. Visit local villages such as Khamlia, where you can enjoy traditional Gnawa music.

You will also meet nomadic families and learn about their simple lifestyle. In the afternoon, relax at the camp or try sandboarding. At night, enjoy dinner, music, and a peaceful atmosphere under the stars.

Day 3: Merzouga → Fes & Fes Desert Tours

After breakfast, leave the desert and start your journey back to Fes. On the way, stop in Erfoud, known for fossils and local products, and Rissani, famous for its traditional market.

Continue through the Atlas Mountains and arrive in Fes in the evening.
