The following day, explore Todra Gorge, Erfoud, and reach the captivating Merzouga Desert, where you can enjoy a camel trek and a night in Berber camps. Day 1: Marrakesh – Tizi-n-Tichka pass – Ouarzazatte – Dades Gorge
Your private tour 3 days tour from Marrakesh to Merzouga kicks off with a view of the Atlas Mountains as we snake through the Tizi-n-Tichka pass to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou, famous on the big screen for
movies like The Gladiator and the famous HBO series Game of Thrones. We’ll then continue to Ouarzazate to visit Atlas Film Studios and a Kasbah (fortress) located in the city. We’ll continue our tour from Marrakech towards the Valley of Roses, famous for its annual Festival of Roses, and then drive to the Dades Gorge where we’ll have dinner and spend the night in a local hotel.
Day 2: Dades Gorge – Todra Gorge – Rissani – Merzouga desert
After breakfast we’ll head, for a long trip, towards the Todra Gorge (Valley) where we’ll stop for lunch. Later in the afternoon will travel to Erfoud through the Tinjdad and Tourog Palm Groves; in Erfoud, we can visit a local factory that produces artisans and house decor made from fossils, there is also a local shop where you may purchase such items as souvenirs. We’ll then visit the captivating Merzouga Dunes of Erg Chebbi where we’ll leave our 4×4 behind and carry on by camelback (optional) to admire the sunset, spending the night under Berber bivouacs.
Day 3 : Merzouga desert – Agdez – Ouarzazatte – Marrakesh
We’ll fetch an early start to the day to catch the sunrise and then continue on camelback to the hotel. After breakfast, we’ll head out towards Rissani and Agdz passing through the Draa valley to reach Ouarzazatte. Then we’ll end our trip with 3 days tour from Marrakesh to Merzouga returning through the Tizi-n-Tichka pass to Marrakesh.
